Start with a labelled reference
Open the card explorer and filter to Trump. Keep the full source beside it. Ask a learner to point to a card and explain which label tells them its playing group, which tells its position and which tells its points.
Compare two nearby examples
Choose two cards from the visible sequence. Explain their order before returning to the reference to check it. Keep the exercise about the ranking itself, without also trying to solve a full hand or choose a strategy.
Change the view
Switch to point values and describe what moved. Ask why sorting by points answers a different question from sorting by playing order. This is a reading exercise, not permission to change how a trick is won.
End with one useful note
Write down the distinction that caused confusion and the source section that resolved it. A small accurate note is easier to reuse than memorising an unlabeled screenshot.
